Tom_
Gay for everything. pointless for trials. heavy for all those BMXers out there, you can grind most stuff on a pedal anyways.
Sidehop Stuart
good for bmx, we do trials I know, but if you sidehop up onto walls, instead of damaging and bending pins, it would be good to land on the grind plate side
Ash-Kennard
I know, but if you sidehop up onto walls, instead of damaging and bending pins, it would be good to land on the grind plate side and slide off because they have no grip? you bend your pins on sidehops? i never have, ever

PaRtZ
jesus christ. a simple no they wouldnt work would suffice.... as said too heavy for trials really. Would work for BMX though if weights not an issue
Mark W
good for bmx, we do trials They're not even good for BMX. If you're that worried about stuff like that, just take most of the pins out of one side of your pedal, then just make sure you have your foot on the pinned side. That's what I do with my pedals for BMX when I know I'm going to be grinding on them, works fine.
Sidehop Stuart
Ok , so far theres mostly negative comments. Which pedals should I go out and buy then ? Edited June 1, 2008 by trials onza
Mark W
Trialtech's new magnesium pedals are pretty sweet to be fair. I know they're the same as the other Wellgo MG-1 based ones, but meh, it's Trialtech isn't it
ogre
V8s can't really fault em
Mark W
While a few years ago that might've been true, the quality of the more recent V8s I've had has been poor.
16 years later
http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=110 Best ever so nice light strong and look great (i have grey) had them 2 years and only lost like 2 3 pins.

Ash-Kennard
Shame they're so damn heavy Magnesium Trialtech's all the way no f**k you dave, the slight weightyness, is nothing compared to the huge platform and strength of them
Captain Scarlet
That would be damn annoying to find the right side to each pedal everytime.
Mark W
It really isn't. I can find it mid-run ridiculously easily on my BMX, and that's with taking my feet off to do tricks. You don't even need to look down to do it.
Sidehop Stuart
That would be damn annoying to find the right side to each pedal everytime. '' The Steel plates counter balance the pedals, so that they stop Spinning with the pins-up – ready to ride. monkeyseemonkeydo
'cos VPs feel like shiiiiit. I dunno, I wouldn't use anything else but VPs on my comp bike... I never used to get on with platforms but am really liking my MG-1's on the Inspired. Just ripped the pins out of my old hognesiums though when I ran them on my T-Rex.
