MadManMike
I've got hands free brakes so I don't need to use any fingers
Phil H
Theres no set rules! Very true but by a massive margin using 1 finger is the most controlled, comfortable and efficient way. Everyone who doesn't use one finger currently will in a matter of time, if not they will have no where near as much control as they are potentially capable of. It's a progressive step in riding. But like is said above, 99.99% already do. Phil

Monty Man Sam
I have heard that if you use 2 fingers on discs it can warp them so i use
Revolver
I use one finger and sometimes two on the front if i need it locked. Get into the habit of using one if you can, you get more grip from the first two fingers than you do the last two, so why waste the middle finger on the brake? lil Jsy Chris
I use one so that i get more grip on the bars but i would just use what you are most comfortable with.
Adrian
1 finger for more control with the brake and bars with two youl find it hard tryin to let brake go to pedal kick etc because you middle finger will tense up and hold the brake on.. 1 1 1 1 1 1 1

Ali C
I rode trials for 3 years using 2 fingers on each brake, I didn't know any different, so it is possible....however I forced myself to use one finger, its pretty scary at first, but its worth it, I have found it much better for control with 1 finger braking. yoyoyo
When i started riding i used two fingers, found it really hard to use one at first but you soon get used to it. Haven't looked back since. Edited June 4, 2008 by Bob Fossil
