SkiLLz
Hey. So i'm getting a new bike very soon (T-Rex) and I was wondering if it was really worth going for the T-Rex over the T-Raptor because of the high BB. Any tips or advice? Matthew_Gibson
Im assuming the Trapto has a BB drop then? The Rex doesnt have a rise from what ive heard??
MikeCottTrials
trex isnt considered to have a high bb at all but you have made the right choice t-raptors ride more like a streety bike

Matthew_Gibson
yeah, my mate had a T-Rex and there is 0mm BB rise (unless there's one with different geo?) Well back in the day of trials-nation. Mr Tart had one made with crazy BB height! bike looked a beast too. HUGE rear tyre, Crazy drilled mavic on the front (or was that on his red Boa?) Shaun H
I had an Onza T-Rex, it gave me an excellent grounding in trials. I would strongly recomend them to any newcomer as the geometry isn't massively extreme.
Mike Winton.
T-rexs are nice bikes, look for videos of jonny mc, he had one and was bloooooody good on it
SkiLLz
I really like the rex but like you all say the raptor is more street and i ride mainly street. Is it still a good choice to go with the rex?
basher
If you ride like chris akrigg (youtube him if you dont no him) then the traptor will fit the bill for that type of riding, if you ride more conventionally such as doing gaps sidehops ect then the trex will suit you better. edit: when people are saying street they don actually mean riding on the street as aposed to on rocks there refering to the type of ridin such as manuels and 180s bunnyhops that kind of thing. SkiLLz
I would like to do the same type of stuff as Chris but i'd also like to do gaps ect. so i think i'll get the Rex for a start off the make my mind up later on lol.
