JoNnY__Mc
So whats the record?? I got bored of watching the video... Edit: 1.17cm?? surely thats a mistake even so 1.17m is only around 46" Edited May 27, 2008 by JoNnY__Mc
Gandalf the Yellow
1.17... was a bit long, but worth watching that fit bird at the end! ahaha. good find. steve
Ben John-Hynes
That doesn't look that big... But ovbiously it is. So Damon was only .0629921 inches off that record. Not too shabby! Gandalf the Yellow
What's that? A lower BB and a frame that's larger than 2"...? that was what crossed my mind...doesn't look like an ozonys? steve
Greetings
How old is this? 117cm isn't that much for pro riders, wasn't Tra attempting to sidehop over 140cm?
Julien
Very old, but good find. Dani Comas a long time ago got an official record of 128cm. At the European champs in Heubach over the weekend, Benito got 138cm (20"), and Vincent got 130cm (26"), I think. Giacomo got 125cm or 120cm. Dani didn't go in the sidehop comp, but I'm pretty sure he would still beat Vince.
t33zr
Crosspost from OTN: That must be pretty old indeed. Dutch rider Rick Koekoek broke the world record a few weeks ago.. It was aired on national television aswell, didn't see it though
Julien
Crosspost from OTN: I think they mean, national record. He did not break Benito's record.

t33zr
I think they mean, national record. He did not break Benito's record. So benito got an OFFICIAL GUINNES WORLD RECORD?
ben_travis
lol chill out damon, he got his maths wrong and thought that the sidehop over was a little over 56" and as you put a 56" sidehop in your last video, he basically meant that you might be able to match the sidehop 'record'
Rich Pearson
Looks about... 2001? Thats what I thought. Original Koxx prototype like this one? So benito got an OFFICIAL GUINNES WORLD RECORD? Yup. Rich
aaron chase
1,17 is not the actual record! this video seems old. also, jumping a bar is easier than a sidehop on a wall.
t33zr
also, jumping a bar is easier than a sidehop on a wall. beeep, wrong.... jumping over a bar is harder....
Gandalf the Yellow
Thats what I thought. Original Koxx prototype like this one? this bike must be the 1 i saw back in a olllld video that got me into riding, was him riding with giacomo when he was on a megamo. never seen it in pic, thanks for finding that rich! steve

Lokoxx
I agree with aaron, it`s not the actual record. The actual record is now from Cesar Cañas, here from spain, in 26", when he sidehoped 1.26 metres. I saw it on person! hahaha
t33zr
i KNOW its not the current record... so stop arguing... I just have never seen the video, so i thought i should share it with you guys....
