Big Brother Is Back

I don't understand, please explain this:

They put in a mixture of people likely to cause romance and arguments. This is the aim of the show, to see "action", like disputes or love blooming.

As soon as someone starts a fight or gets frisky they turn it off.

Point?

I hate BB anyway, it's boring and doesn't deserve half the hype it gets - it's crap.

All the Shilpa Shetty crap for instance - they shouldn't have censored it or apologised afterwards... It made / would have made great viewing.

I'm not racist by the way!

The words of a wise man!

Yes, it was very fun to watch! Very fun!

Im not racist either!

Seeing how a group of people react to a racist pig (Jade Goody) is interesting - C4 were not responsible for her big mouth so they shouldn't apologise.

Ethnic groups need to chill out to be honest, if there was a black man in there that called a white person a "dirty honky" or something nothing would be said, but if it was the other way round the nation would be going nuts...

Sooo true! Non of us would be bothered either, we would just laugh it off! However, other groups seem to make a massive fuss for the hell of it! Really gets on my tit's!

I f**king hate big brother. I f**king hate most of the wank thats on TV these days. All I ever watch is the news (out of habit) and skins. All the American weak shallow comedy I also hate (scrubs for example, its just not funny imo).

Don't even watch telly really.. i ride/laptop/sleep/school thats all my life consists off lol

"i laptop" and "i school" dont really work... you clearly haven't watched enough big bruvver.

I think the first series of BB was top notch, it had never been done before and was more like the social experiment it was meant to be, rather than the freak show circus it has become. I wont be watching it, thats for sure.

Well for a start I can pretty much guarantee that 'things would be said'. Furthermore I don't think someone a honky has the same historical weight as some other more offensive words used towards black people.

I think people just use the terms 'oh these days it's all political correctness gone mad!", as a stock reply to things like this as a means to put forward their own f**king idiotic and often racist/bigoted viewpoints.

Tori (can't be bothered to change accounts and well Nick will be the same.)

Will watch the first show of them going into the house.

Will complain about every single person going in, because if any of the last few series are anything to go by I will instantly hate them.

Will not watch it again.

If that point was aimed at me, I'm far from racist, I have quite a few friends that are Asian or Black.

My point, and maybe I didn't spend long enough typing it for it to make complete sense, was basically:

If Shilpa had been racist towards Jade I really don't think there would have been so much fuss - in fact I'd lay money on that.
