Wrong, it's the chemical balance (100 being quite a high water displacing balance, for instance) that was the optimum properties. Or something like that. For instance, they tried WD-20, 30, 50, 60 etc.

Pashley26
I can beat the lot of you' ! The surface area of the pyramids divided by the height is Pi to the seventh digit. Beat that !
Extreme_biker0
I can beat the lot of you' ! The surface area of the pyramids divided by the height is Pi to the seventh digit. Beat that ! That ratio (pi) would be different depending on the unit of measurement you used. For example 'feet for the height:square feet for the suface area' would be different to 'meters for the height:square meters for the surface area'. So really that is true for any building, even your house, provided you choose a unit of length that makes it so, like hands, toothbrushes, or maple leafs. Pashley26
Maby best to "reitterate" my amazing fact in gospel truth form now ! Taken from several specialist sites dedicated to the great pyramids; Pi is approximately 3.1415926535 . . . Concerning Khufu's (Cheops') Great Pyramid, twice the length of any one side, divided by the height, is approximately the same number as pi. and gives a true size in meters and inches of 31415.924218 If you change the measure (say feet and inches to mm's and cm's) you will always get a ratio comparable to 22/7 wich was knows throughout the egyption world as Pi. as apposed to Pi being 3.1415926535 it was 3.142857. It's also worth noting that every block found on the west side of Khufu's pyramid has a seration at precisely half the sum of 1 and the square root of 5 inches along one side. Theres LOADS of good fact's about the pyramids. have an extensive read before you call me a bullshitter. Theres LOADS of good fact's about the pyramids. have an extensive read before you call me a bullshitter. what you said there, may be correct, but your original statement of surface area divided by height would be wrong(well technically it would be correct, but its correct for any object in the entire world technically). quick example. your pyramid is 9 foot high, and each side is 12ft. therefore for that pyramid has a surface area of 72 sq' ft per side and a height of 9 ft. so its 72/9. so has a ratio of 8 however working it out in yards, the same pyramid is now 3 yards high, and each side is 4 yards long. the pyramid now has a surface areach of 8 sq yds per side, and a height of 3 yards. so its 8/3. and now has a ratio of 2.66 recurring. but their both the same pyramid, same dimensions, just measured in different units. and end up with totally different ratios. if you measured it in horses hands, youd end up with a different ratio again. another one for metres, inches, cm's, miles etc. so using an obscure enough unit, it would be true that surface area/height = pi to 7 digits. for any object in the world. hI-OOPS-CAPS
concerning the building blocks, the citadel of the inca empire macchu picchu has dry stone walls which a knife couldnt be squeezed inbetween each block. thats skilled labouring and concerning the egyptians, is this all in literacy? because if it isnt then its probably just a coincidence that the mathmatical facts are how they are. its like retro fitting things. someone find some dimensions about the pyramid and say oh look this equates to pi^7 (or whatever) it would be interesting if the ancient egyptians new about their maths

James Quigley
Joe Maher's scent can attract a female from a distance of 25.87km on a clear day with a 12km/h tailwind - FACT! unfortunately, in close proximity, the scent becomes too overpowering and the female is rendered unconcious. This is believed to be a precautionary defense mechanism of the Maher species, which enables it to copulate and retreat without affording the female a chance of escape.
