craigjames
but a darn site better quality and harder wearing than any rattle can job you'll do. do it luke, you wont notice the weight and im sure theres somewhere on your bike you can lose it if you want. Mowgli
we shall see, mag pedals are on their way from china as we speak so that will cover 200gms but do fancie doing some dremmel work and using lighter parts somewhen (when i have money). Alex-Mitchinson
Just saved about 120g's by cutting all the side treads off my tyres. If you're looking for a 'how to loose bike weight' guide then there was one a few weeks ago in a topic by "Robster". eskimo
60grams after weighing on my bmx. But that's smaller and it was really really thick powder coat.
Mowgli
im not too bothered bout weight, just wondered as a friend said it was pretty heavy.i am not really planning on cutting knobbles off my tires (done it on my last front one and saved 100g) as i do the hampshires and need all the tread to hold the mud! craigjames
maybe be more grippy ona flat smooth surface, but on rocks, mud and egdes i dont think so. would love to see someone do the hampshires in the mud with slicks
Tomm
Vince was running a slick on the front the other day: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=119366Pretty mental. But like people have said, it probably depends on the conditions (I'd like to see Hermance session Buthiers in the rain with slicks on...). Mark W
60grams after weighing on my bmx. But that's smaller and it was really really thick powder coat. I can't remember which frame it was, although it was either the Sunday New Wave 2 frame or the LTF, but not doing a powdercoated finish on the frame saved 0.25lb.
