I'm trying to use the inverse matrix method to solve a simple simultaneous equation. In the attached example I can not see how to get from the first to the second line?! =SI will be kicking myself when I realise this..you know the feeling!!Thanks,Dave Edited May 15, 2008 by David
Fuse
(-5 x 4) + (-2 x 1) = -20 + (-2) = -22(-3 x 4) + (1 x 1) = -12 + 1 = -11It's been a while since I did these, but from what I remember and looking at the numbers, it seems to work.
