SkiLLz
I'm saving for a new frame (Echo Pure 08) but i don't know if i should go for the long or short base, Short 1080mm, Long 1095mm.What do you think is best?
The Duck
Depends. But I'd say long, because the reach is pretty small, but the wheelbase is long because of the 70.5 head angle. (Feels short but is actually long). Either is nice though.
NileBrown™
Sorry, but isnt this a bit of a pointless topic mate? Long and short kind of depend on how tall you are and how much reach you have. However, Long and short frames do have their advantages, Shorts seem to be more flicky and manualable and longs tend to be more streety and more sidehopable

steve@banbury-trials
i prefer bikes with a longer cockpit for some reason ,im not excessively tall 5'10 or 5'11 but i just like it.my mate who rode a short pure loved his ,but i didnt ,its just down to prefference.i suggest that you try out different frames to find out what you like
