The Stig
sorry.I think you all misunderstood, probably my explanation.I want to take off the polish, so i can then spray it.thanks for the replies.Yes the process up above shows you how to take off the laquer (laquer is a clear protective coat that stops your paint from chipping). Once you have done that you can begin spraying PAINTING FRAME CLICKY So yeah have a good old read and make sure you understand fully before doing it......best thing is get you parent to help (Dad is your best bet). Hope i helped Tom
lehman GU
well u can sand your bike down and spray like that not sure about taking the laquer off then spraying the chrome. but i know someone that sanded and sprayed looks allright but if your really lazy like me go to a powercoaters and get them to sand blast it costs a few quid and allmost all powdercoaters have sand blasting equiptment Edited May 10, 2008 by lehman GU
eskimo
Powder coating is expensive but is a hell of alot better overall than a spray job. Also make sure the sand blast isn't heavy, it'll destroy your frame & the warranty.Around the £40 mark for it.
basher
Nitromorse it then sand it down to give the primer something to grip to.
