AdamR28
Evening all,Due to my fat sausage-like fingers I wasn't able to ride (stack on Sunday), so thought I'd take some pics instead. Decided I needed to try and take some different shots so left my wide angle and flash at home and just took my 50mm F1.8 and 70-200 lenses... JonCongreve
Never really seen pics other than taken with your fisheye but these are great. So clear and sharp and some have a good shallow DOF which works really well. I want Stan's bike! What stem is he running?
chrishayton
Its the Canon USM doofer... can't remember the exact model name, sorry!ef 70-200 f4 L USM ? white one? awesome lenses. got mine couple of month ago and love it
AdamR28
shallow DOF which works really wellThanks man... I really like that effect, plucks the rider out of the background really nicely I think, if there's too much in focus I reckon it can take away from the subject...Stan's running a Trialtech stem: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=10429CheersAdamef 70-200 f4 L USM ? white one? awesome lenses. got mine couple of month ago and love itHmm, no it's not that posh... It's the EF F4.5-5.6 MKII. Not really used it that much to be honest :$

Krisboats
Some of those are gorgeous mate, especially the first two. Good choice with not using the fisheye, these have worked so much better. Only downside with the first is the riders face so dark, but otherwise the image is very nicely lit and the sun going up the frame is spot on
Ali C
gutted I couldnt go! Martins getting a beast at taps it seems, also tell sten to get his pedal vertical when setting off for a tap. Pictures are lovley and crisp, nice summery colours as well, I particually like the sunset!

Tomm
Yeah, those pictures look sweet with the longer lens. That first one looks awesome, just a shame about the face. I reckon you could recover most of it in Photoshop though?Good skills all round
Mark W
Sweet pics Ad, I often find ditching the fish is a good way of making you work harder with it. Using long lenses and off-camera flash is still pretty sweet though
AdamR28
Using long lenses and off-camera flash is still pretty sweet though That's what I reeaalllyy wanted for some of the pics, but I haven't got a setup that would allow me to do it in the light (and didn't have the flash with me)...Cheers!That first one looks awesome, just a shame about the face. I reckon you could recover most of it in Photoshop though?Thank you Tomm... I didn't actually try wit hthat first pic but it's pretty 'flat' and I think I brightened it a touch already... might have a play later
