ZeroMatt
To be honest mate if you build the wheel well with atleast a 3 cross pattern there is very little flex so no need to get massive spokes.I have a pro2 on an echo 06 rim and it feels solid Edited May 6, 2008 by ZeroMatt

craigjames
depends how much you weigh really. personally im only 10.5 stone and i couldnt feel the flex in my rear wheel running a disc at all. but then prawn had a go on it, him weighing a little more than me, he could make and feel the wheel flex. although the rbake still held strong.make sure you get a very good build, even tensioned and make sure you keep the wheel tight, regulary checking it. having a disc will just exagerate any flex/movement in the loose spokes.regards to what spokes, i used dt swiss competition DB spokes, was fine. could use double butter drive side adn plain guage non-drive to add a small amount of stiffness, but most of it will be down to the build itself.hopes thats some help.
