Walleee Posted May 4, 2008 Report Share Posted May 4, 2008 Learn to 'Pinch gap', you'll need to experiment tyre pressure's that will allow you to preload by squashing your tyre (like what big side hopers do) but will allow you to land without getting a pinch flat.It's more about technique than set-up i'd say, especially if your using a standard gearing ratio. (22:18 ratio) I watch people do massive gaps and I just don't get it? Pinch gap... you still let the brake off and give it some yeah?I should be riding right foot forward, what a mistake that was choosing my crappy left. I can pedal kick fine with my left (quick stab), but it acts like a spastic when I want to try the pedal up technique = rotation of cranks and then power....resulting in me having the idea of changing my brake levers around... rear is right etc!
