craigjames Posted April 28, 2008 Report Share Posted April 28, 2008 haha, ive never heard that before! but yeah ash is right. save some money, buy a decent specced second hand bike. see if you really enjoy it and then at a later point you can buy a new bike. no point splashing the cash before you know its exactly what you want to be doing. Muel Posted April 28, 2008 Report Share Posted April 28, 2008 Also, you can spend £500 on a second hand bike, ride it for a few months, decide trials isn't what you want to do and then sell it for £450.Or you could buy a T-Comp for £500, upgrade it to make the brakes work and put a nice bar/stem and forks on maybe, then sell it for £300.Or you could do what your planning on doing, spending £1200-1400 on a bike, which would then be worth £700 max as soon as you opened the box.
