its obviously a cheaper version, has a maggy mounts which is a bonus wonder if it will keep the same geo its hard to tell from pictures. But why are they still making them rims, surely the whole revamp they did with the frame and new hubs, bars and stuff was to show monty are moving with the times and not sticking to the same thing like they had been doing. So why still porduce them rims when im pritty sure they wernt even good and they brought the ones with squares out about 2 year ago and they arn't even expensive rims and would make the bike look alot nicer. Anyone tell what brakes they are? as they ust to put shit magura disks on the pr last year wonder if thats changed?

Also, those champaigne rims are f**king useless, even I managed to put 5 dents in one, in one ride! I have also had 2 rear try-all rims and I now have the white TI ones, and I have never dented any of them.

I've been running my champagne rims for about 18 months now and they're still as good as they were the day they came on my 221Pr. And believe me, they've been properly used and abused in that time...

On the topic of the 220 Kamel- that's what I've been waiting for, no way I'd pay what Monty want for the 221 but this should be a perfect replacement for the Pr as my comp bike. :)

Maybe I had a duff one. My mates did the same though, but granted he went a lot bigger than me at the time.

His was also from a PR, but mine was from a TI, but I thought they were the same so it shouldn't make any difference.
