Fixed Pants™
When did you get the full driving licence?I believe if you got it before 21st of Feb 01 you're allowed to ride it with the right insurance, tax etc. Might change yearly though, to keep it in a 6 year period or something.I'll have a look on the site that told me. TomR
Isn't te limit purely 33bhp, regardless of engine capacity?
Fish-Finger-er
Isn't te limit purely 33bhp, regardless of engine capacity?nah, the 33 bhp license comes in, if you take your full bike test on a bike under 46.6bhp(basically if your either 21, or your above 21, and you sit your test on a 125cc), youll sit your full bike test on a 125cc, and then not be able to ride anything above 33bhp for 2 years after passing your test. Token
you need a cbtthen you can ride one without l platesbasically, it is impossible to ride a motorized cycle without a cbt.Regardless of whether you have a full UK driving license or not, if you've only got a CBT certificate for your bike, you have to display 'L' plates. You can only ride a Motorbike without 'L' plates if you've got a motorbike license. If they pull you over without L plates, an you havent got the full motorbike license then you'll get a £30 fine. Captain Scarlet
Ah Scopse done it before me.The only thing that you don't need to get when holding a full driving licence, is a provisional as a full licence essentially does the same job.You still need; L plates, bike, CBT, tax, etc.
