Captain Scarlet
Yes I believe it is possible, as I was interested in building a Profile hub to an Echo rim and asked the same question.
Ravemonkey
does anyone know if you can lace a 32 spoke hub onto a 36 spoke hub missing four spokes out.I didn't think you could lace two hubs together I think you can but im not totally sure If you can you would have to do it right otherwise the wheel wouldn't be very strongI would just get the right spoke hub or rim so much less hassle Edited April 21, 2008 by Ravemonkey

NileBrown™
Just out of intrest can I ask why you want to do this? Wouldn't it be easier to buy the rim specified for the hub? Most rims now come in 32 or 36 hole. But I definitely know it can be done, and you miss holes out in places and you have to have longer spokes in some area, there was a topic on this a while ago, i'll try and dig for it. Muel
You can lace a 36h hub to a 32h rim, but you will struggle to do it the other way around I think.Sell some stuff and buy a new rim. If you havn't got £40 to spend on a rim, how can you afford a king hub?
