I-LikeMatchesDerFun
Hey,Just wondering how do people usually buy stuff from here? well, more importantly, how do you send payment? I'm in the process of buying a bike and want to know what's the safest way to pay for stuff? how easy is it to set up a paypal account? lots of questions! lolCheers,Steve
Muel
I'd just use a cheque, then you avoid paypal charges.
MadManMike
I tend to do Postal Orders or Cheques. If you're both trusted, long-term members the person will normally send before cheque clears... I do if it's someone that's a good member and not been validated recently
I-LikeMatchesDerFun
Cheers for the replies. I'll probably send Postal Order or Bank Draft. I only got validated recently so the buyer says He'll send it once it clears, which is fair enough. JonMack
Bank Transfer or Paypal, f**k cheques and postal orders, they're a joke. People who worry about Paypal charges should just make their money back on postage by charging an extra 4%, not exactly rocket science. MadManMike
f**k postal orders, they're a joke.Ideal for me though, I closed two credit cards and my bank account 4 months ago so the easiest / only option for me is P.O.Saying that, I opened a new account at Lloyds TSB on Monday so it's all good now

Jolfa
Paypal, clearly - the charges are hardly astronomical, and you've got some kind of protection if you never see your item

But Paypal has extra security so if there's ever any doubt (not that there should be on here, but y'know), use that.
