Greetings
Meh I remember my first lesson. Was shitting myself but the instructor kept talking to me and telling me what to do so it went fairly well.Learned to control the car by the 5/6th hour of driving and started concentrating on the road and signs, not just the mechanics of driving.I found it much more difficult to switch to my own car though. Where the Punto revved to 2.5k, mine revs to 8.5 and cuts out. And the clutch isn't easy either so it's a f**king nightmare. Need to use it more often I guess. Danny
Just don't do what i did the other day in a car park. Pulled up, took radio out, took feet away, oops, forgot to take it out of gear hehe. That's what you get when your rushing for a train. Gavyn.
Got my test in a month, will have done about 30 hours which is around average really. My instructor gave me a mock test last week and I only got 3 minors. Just takes concentration and planning/thinking ahead. I find it a lot better if,before you go out, you think about it, how you're going to drive, the order in which you take precautions when coming to roundabouts/junctions, like what gear you're going to need etc. Does help a lot.according to my test dvd thing, the average is 42 hours. thats loads some people must take like 80 hours how much do guys pay for a 1 hour lesson?
