davey90
hi i have jus bought a base ta26 frame to get into a bit of trials i used to have a mod onza and i have a new spare 16t freewheel, was wondering if i would be able to use this on my new frame if i had a fixed sprocket at the rear and if so what size of sprocket would anybody suggest, would this work with the 7075 echo cranks on tartybikes that are on offer at the moment, and any idea what axle length of bb i would need?? lots of questions
Danny Kearns
The freewheel will fit fine with the Echo Cranks.I think stock gear ratio with a 16 tooth freewheel is 16:14 ?You will need a 127.5 or a 128 length axle. I reccomend the Truvativ giga pipe DH. Availiable at Either Tartybikes or Trials -UK
NileBrown™
Yeah as danny said 16:14 is one to go for, but you could try 16:13, the norm used to be with 22 tooth middleburn front cogs and 18tooth rear so 16:14 is 1.1428571428571428571428571and 16:13 is 1.230769230769230769230769 which is a bit nearer to 22:18 which is 1.222222222222222222222222222 Edited April 20, 2008 by NileBrown
