Danny Kearns
Well, I've been a mod rider the Majority of my riding time. Built my Echo Control up tonight. Went out for half hour or so, I can already gap further on this than i could on mod.
Ash-Kennard
search/don't be an utter tard (stocks tend to be more gap-able)stfu dick head, mods gap easier, especially short mods, they literally float as you can pick them up so high

Captain Scarlet
Mods, they are springier and move easier. In my opinion of course.
Mat Smith!
mods should be better, but arnt, there more compact, easyer to chuck about, but harder to put all preload + power in, i think .Matx

Pagie
QFTWhen I had my echo lite it gapped really well. Probs better than my ashton does.TBF Fish your gapping on your echo was beast, but now the gapping on your ashton is uber smooth? considering youve been riding it like less than a week? I think youll be sending it soon!I've jus made the mod to stock transition! Can gap as far on my stock within a weeks riding! So my vote goes STOCKx
Fishy
Yeah, you were gapping like a tank. Ain't it more to do with personal preference?
Muel
Mod, stocks are ghey. In truth, a mate that used to ride a bit leant me his stock to mend and have a play on, I could tap and gap as well as I could on my Mod within half an hour, but it was shit for any rocks/techy stuff as it felt really big and clumsy. NileBrownâ„¢
I can't gap stocks as good as I can gap mods. But I think it was to do with the difference in gear ratios. So in my opinion, Mod!
Matthew_Gibson
I couldn't gap my Adamant for shite. My echo is far easier! Stock with longish chainstays? does that help?
NVWOCI WVS
Thinking about it, the biggest gap i've ever done was on a bmx...
andyb
On a stock definitely, easier to get the power down. But my new xtp 20" isnt far off for gaps, but it is long and i find that helps.Andy B

JB1
There is alway going to be good and bad point with each. I have ridden stock for years but curiosity has got the better of me lately and I have just bought a long Echo Team. I find that I can gap further and smoother on the mod. Its each to there own really, if you get the opportunity get a good go on both & ride the one you feel more compfortable on.
