AdamR28
are the try all prototypes just 2 upsidedown magura ones? .Nope, as you can see they are a totally different shape, they are not the same top and bottom, and they have a laser etched Try-All logo on them... Ben John-Hynes
Nope, as you can see they are a totally different shape, they are not the same top and bottom, and they have a laser etched Try-All logo on them...On the bottom half of the clamp,do they have the little lips that fit over the mount on the frame?Like on the original magura ones. Ben John-Hynes
I find the brakes a lot easier to set up with them on.Good ol' Vince! Edited April 19, 2008 by Benjaminge
Mark W
Yeah, if you're running a booster it does make life 1,000% easier to be fair. If you can cross-thread a mount with them on, you basically deserve to give me your bike (and a helicoil kit).
walker
Really, really nice bike! Too many people are getting these frames!! But i can see why, so light and simple, just better hope they last...Andrew
Rob Brodie
This is Waddy's bike, Stan has a new Ozonys XR26 to build up I guess so... but they are very light (31g), simple, and do the job perfectly (no need for cylinder washers - means your brake sets up parallel every time).so how does that work?sounds like a beastly idea!bike looks swish..rob.. basher
so how does that work?sounds like a beastly idea!bike looks swish..rob..Im guessing inside the clamps there will be groves to match the ones on the cylinders, this will eliminate one axis of movement on the cylinder so the only movement will be in and out. So aslong as the mounts on the frame are square and right on the frame it will mean the pad is square everytime.
