Daborn Meister
Hairsprays always a good one, dries nice and sticky I tried that but when i sprayed it onto the bars as i pushed on the grips the top half of the grips took all the hair spray and i no longer could push the rest of the grip on Joe

forteh
For rubber grips use petrol, almost instant drying time, sticks perfectly and smells nice Not sure if its such a good idea for foam grips though
Headley
You could try soaking them in boiling water, thats how I got mine on.

G-baby158
use hairspray but put it in your grips and then put them on and in about 2 hours max they will be dry and you wont be able to move them at allgreg
Muel
I contributed to the Wiki about this a while back, the pump method.http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/wiki/How_to_...onto_handlebarsYou can also zip tie the whole lot together, put the bike on the floor, push the grip with one hand and pump with the other. No need for a helper. I've used this method every time for about 5 years or more.
Peperami
On foam grips dont use anything but water! Anything else will come through to the surface of the grip after a few rides, making them slippery.Just soak them and the handlebars in water, and pull them on. Then let them to dry. Ben H!
an air compressor is your best bet mate just start to put the grip on to the bars and push the compressor between the bars and grip then press the compressor and whilst doing this push the grip on with your hand it just slides on really easily. it works brilliant hope i've helped mate
