2k8-looney
Hello there My crank arms keep coming loose no matter how tight i do them up, I have tried putting loctite on them but they still come loose so when im out riding i am constantly tightening them witch gets really annoying. What do think could be wrong ?cheers Steve
Gogz-
if it keeps coming loose and you have tightened it right up its ether going to be a worn crank arm or BB . i had the same problem both the square taper on the crank and the axle of the bottom bracket were worn , as far as i know the only way to sort this is to replace them
forteh
If its square taper then youre about stuffed as youve probably stretched the square by overtightening it, if its isis then its just the crap design of the isis spline Loctite wont glue a rocking spline together, it will stop a tight spline or a bolt from coming loose though That is assuming you used the loctite properly.
