I might be getting a frame built for me by marino bikes...and was just wondering if anyone had any cool design ideas they think would either look awesome, orbe functional or save weight..

I was thinking: integrated chain tensioner

internal cable routing

hole in headtube

integrated booster

side hop guards

downtube protector lugs

anything else?

post your ideas or pics...all ideas welcome!

Can you build an aluminium bike or are they all steel?

In the bottom bracket, are there threads inside, ( ready to fit a bottom bracket straight in ) or will i have to tap them myself?

So, for a frame it would cost $150, or £75 to my house?

Hi,

Im interested in commissioning a trials frame from you. Whats the normal weight for one?

Is it completely custom geometry?

Do all threads come pre-tapped e.g bb shell?

Is there a 4-bolt magura mount version?

Whats the rough price including shipping to the uk?

Is there a choice of paintjobs?

thanks,

Alex

Do you need a tensioner. What ive never understood is why stocks never run horizontal dropout. In my street dropout is a bolt that is screwed against the axle. This tensions the chain. Nothinng to break.

All these reaper mods if you into weight reduction look at the eastern ti reaper bmx frame for hole idea.

horizontal dropouts + stock frame = mod stock frame ( 116mm dropouts, for use with chain tugs )
