sstein
I just bought a new rear wheel, as I mangled my old one and while I was waiting for it to come I was wondering what people's opinions of Alex DX32 rims was. All opinions welcome!

Alex Dark
ive ran the supra rims, x2100 and x4000 rims...all brilliant, and i can only imagine the dx32 will be the same
eskimo
Why do people claim rims to be shit just because they flat spot?My second Try-All rim 47mm flat spotted a few times on it's first light grind. I wouldn't class it as shit though. It holds it's shape really nicely and it's light. The DX32 seems to have a much better quality and finish, the seem is nicely pinned compared to the Echo and Try-All.My Echo 07 isn't actually a very nice rim. It hasn't flat spotted yet but the finish is a horrible gloss anodize which didn't even seem as thick as people claim. It buckled severly after a minor bail though which needs truing out as the wheel hardly could spin round. It had alot of spoke tension as well, just seems the Echo has more material on the sidewall than anywhere else.
