Help guys! Cannot decide between these shin/knee pads, there both very appealing to me but im not to sure on which ones to get.

After quickly browsing i've found that the 661 4x4 guards are cheaper although the TSG ones appear to offer more protection

HELP!

If you're planning on using them for trials,

I found that knee AND shin guards made me feel restricted,

If I were you I'd use one or the other,

Id use shin pads and always seem to hit my knee

But I know that if I get knee pads, I'll only hit my shin!

So I just use nothing now!

These (Y)

Real snug, breathable and light weight. No plastic in them at all. I use them on the bmx and time to time on the trials bike.

Shin wise, if your worried about pedals eating you shins don't run cage pedals. Get some concaved pin pedals. Remove the centre pins as well so if you do slip you only get pain, not some deep gash with blood dripping out.
