Unless you know what you're talking about I'd probably keep your mouth shut.

froob
Koxx's are really stiff frames usually.Especially the coust frames! you can set up the pads around 1mm close to the rim (With a decent wheel build) and pedal the hardest you can up a hill and the brake wont rub AT ALL.Was talking to Bigman and he had to take off his cnc backings on his magura because his brake was so stiff it hurt his fingers! chris H
Ive had 3 koxx frames and one thing is for sure not one of them was strong they all had flex and makes the rear brake SHIT.So i wouldnt be so sure to say there that good unless you can look after it. Skoze
HAHA Muel makest me loleth. The Hydroxxes are meant to be really good frames! nice geo, light, stiff.. Anyone saying about theirs not being stiff, is it a hydroxx? If it is then fair point, but if its anything other than that its of no real use to the topic starter imo. Muel
Well I rode a Marco Hoesel a few time, and OK it wasn't as stiff as my Echo, but it was a lot lighter. I could feel the difference, but it really didn't matter, if the geo on the Hoesel was right for me then I could ride it all the time. Unless you know what you're talking about I'd probably keep your mouth shut.Bit uncalled for?Koxx frames are generally mega stiff. Certainly all the ones i've been on have been. (Levelboss, Hydroxx and the Boxx is crazy-stiff)Hydroxx frames are nice, but the head angle lets them down a bit IMO.Edit: Here is an example of how a hydroxx SHOULD NOT look. Here is an example of how one should look, that is gorgeous. Edited April 13, 2008 by Quackers!!

AdamR28
Hydroxx frames are nice, but the head angle lets them down a bit IMO.But when coupled with the 'correct' (Try-All) forks - 35mm offset instead of 45mm - they ride totally differently... the 10mm less offset effectively gives the frame a 1 degree steeper head angle. Sharper steering, more agile on the front wheel.Regarding the first question - are you talking about a 20" or 26" frame?
PaRtZ
Mine lasted a year before it cracked in what appears to be 5 places. Pretty flicky, very light, and pretty nice geometry too. The rear disc mount is pretty damn solid too, but takes a bit of bodging before an Avid BB7 fits which is a bit gay. This is the mod btw
