stritm0nkey
Hey,I realised some years ago my right leg was bigger than my left one. obviously because my right foot is at the front when i ride. I succeeded in re establishing the balance at the gym later, but now i m back to trials the problem comes back. so i m trying to use my left foot as well as my right one indifferently, but that s a tough job so i just wondered if you have the same problem and how you deal with it. especially if some of you can use both feet at the front and how long it took to learn that. stritm0nkey
alright i just measured . right leg perimeter is 575mm, left is 565mm. but i do remember the difference was much more visible before i trained to solve that, people could tell just by looking... and now even though the size is almost equal, i can feel a clear difference in strength.so i expect some riders on the forum to be the same... show yourself! spode@thinkbikes
My right thigh is weaker than my left. My right calf is stronger than my left. This inbalance has caused me a lot of problems and is the cause of my patella tendonitis. I've had to do a LOT of physio to help compensate
Sonny Clarke
When i started trials, i decided to use my left foot seeing as i play football mainly using my right foot therefore hopefully equaling it out. Havn't measured it yet but they seem the same size. Also if one foot is bigger than the other, doesn't that mean you walk around in circles? Jolfa
even though the size is almost equal, i can feel a clear difference in strength.A difference in strength is pretty natural, I think almost everyone, ever will have a 'stronger' side regardless of if they do a sport or not, if it's visible however I think that'd be something to worry about... spode@thinkbikes
Essentially - cross training is the key. Do some other sports to help compensate. Free Running for instance
