*Tom*
^^ . . I think Ti glides came out in 1994 with the splined bit for hopes mechanical brakes.

sir koxxy
Yeah, i said it was up there in my edit ^ow right my bad (sorry) . cool thats me sorted then, but i do have another problem as the free hub i have got for it fits but the old paws dont. i think if i bought new paws for it, it should be good . how much do you think would be a fair price to be asking if i was to put it on ebay or sell it localy?? *Tom*
If you get it all working again with new pawls & springs, then maybe 25 quid, i doubt a trials rider would buy it, best bet would be to put it on ebay, old hope stuff is always selling on there

angrybeaver23
That is a hope ti glide!! i used to use one a few years ago,Good hub except the titaminum is soft and dies much easier than the steel freehub version they did later aka hope sportThe ti glide was the xc equivalent of the DH hope big un hubnice hub all in all though with decent engagement which i believe was a 3 ratchet a pawl system like the hope xc, give hope a ring though as they are always such fantastic help if you ever need anything. angrybeaver23
New ratchels and springs cost next to nothing!!!I had my ti glide wheel about 3-4 years ago and then i gave it to a mate and he sent it off to hope and they put a new freehub on it for nothing!!!They were ace and if i were ever to start riding stock again i would never use any other rear hub except a hope one purely cos they are amazing when it comes to warranty stuffEven if you had to pay for new pawls to be fitted cos its not a job you can do yourself as they are pressed in a think i doubt it will cost much though!!As i said give them a bell you never know but from the looks of the pictures you put up it looks like the cassette has been digging away nicely at the free hub body, a way around that and to extend the life of that freehub body would be to split the cassette and move the sprocket that you use for riding to a different position when you reassemble it. Thats assuming that you would not be requiring the use of more than one gear!!PS.. the pics are not great so it is hard to tell if the freehub body is titanium...If it is then yes it is definately a ti-glide

sir koxxy
How much would i be able to get for this hub?? (not trying to sell dont worrie just wont to know a rough price for selling local) cheers boggy
forteh
Would guess about 40-50 quid? Depends on whos buying it and what they want to pay for it Its worth bearing in mind that the ti freehub can be put into other older hope hubs. When I upgraded my santacruz chameleon to double disk I had a non-disk ti glide on the rear but needed a disk hub; being a tart I got a new wheel built up onto a hope xc (steel freehub) and swapped the ti freehub over Worked perfectly ever since but its definitely not a trials hub. Depends if someone wants a strong, light non disk xc hub really doesnt it? As most xc bikes are dual disk now I think youll be lucky
