Fish-Finger-er
this is keeping me well amusedhttp://128.230.73.133/view/index.shtmlyou can control that one what is the actual point in these cams?..rob..remember having a play with them a couple of years ago. basically their either open access cams, like i know my old college had one mounted on top of a camera shop, to show the town square. and others are CCTV cameras, monitored over the net, which they havent bothered to use securely, either because they didnt count on idiots like us, or theyve got nothing much to hide. so dont bother. TomR
Basically just OCTV (open circuit, instead of closed) which collects all the camera info and just spits it out to a web address. A company called Oggle do it, went for a job interview there once so kind of read up on it.To be fair, the more people that are looking at these things is surely a good thing in a way? spode@thinkbikes
It's not creepy, it's just using a search engine If you search for "Index of" and then an artist you want, you can often find entire MP3 albums in the web listings of people's sites that have been indexed. I know how google works I just meant it was a bit creepy wathcing people when they dont know your watching them.. Especialy the ones in bars and things. Being able to move them as well I find odd.. I was following someone walking past on one of them.. imagine if he looked up and saw this camera following him!Not that he could see a little webcam.. but meh.
