Daniel C
Your grind was too harsh then mate. I know you think i'd say anything to stick up for my company, which in fairness anyone would do. But in all honesty i've had the same pair of pads on my bike on a light grind since January and they've got just over half the material left, fact of the matter is we've only ever had one of our test sets wear down that quickly and it was run on a very harsh grind, since then we (and other people round here that are using them) only ran them on light grinds and the wear rate has been completely fine, so we brought them out aimed at light grinds. Yet yours have worn down in 2 days. I don't think that shows the pads being at fault, but your grind obviously wasn't light... or you dragged the brake as you rolled down some monster of a hill with your freshly ground rim.he did actually go down a big hill with his brake on lol cos he is a tardcoustsinks all the way

Matthew_Gibson
Id say either, Coust sinks, or Koxx greens. Heatsink reds didnt have enough bite for me. and noise for that matter. Rock greens are pretty good for the price. Has to be on a uber light grind. with NO tar.
jimseyd
use these on a dull grind. on a sharp grind they are truely awesome but wear quickly.http://www.discobrakes.com/?s=0&t=2&am...&p=320&
Muel
Woops.Sorry muel. But mine still got no pad left.Any know any good LONG Lasting pads good for a sharp light grind.I have a project maggy bike as well at the moment. Your grind must have been too harsh, as I did a sharp light grind, as intructed, and it have been ridden for about 2 weeks now with no meddling, and they must be at least 6/7mm left still. The Hitcher
Rock blues get my vote and will last you a while, but you need a nice new grind for them to hold better. Which reminds me I must re-grind my rim.Think my mate run heatsink reds and there pretty good too though...
