Hi Guys

Many thanks for the good feedback, glad you all had a good weekend!

Didn't get home until about 10pm last night (stuck with 6 crashes on the motorway!!!) so will try and get the results done tonight for you, but with 95 riders x 3 punchcards it's going to take a while!

Thanks to Jim Connor for letting us use his land; also to Monty for the donated caps and t-shirts; to Fred, Mick and John for the sections; and particularly to the observers for standing out all day; and to you all for making it such a good event.

To quell Scotty Evil1's concerns regarding Fist Aid, there were two qualified First Aiders present - myself being one of them was with Andrei within one minute of his crash, and also dealt with two small bleeding hand issues. So don't worry Scott, your safety at these events is our main concern.

Will let you know when the results are finished, but well done everyone.

Barbara

Great weekend. (Y):) thanks for putting on such a good event.

was pretty good observing on the saturday and then riding the sunday, nice and relaxed and went round with me old lil friend Tommy Oliver, i think we were both as bad as each other, we both had a hard day for 2 laps, but got our fingers out on the last lap, it was all down to tommy, he inspired me to keep going, depsite 8 crashes :D 4 in a row on my 2nd lap, i thort satan was after me.

was good to see the 2 old boys having fun and there was deffinatly a more competative edge in that class ;) John, i am sure Neil will be back for a win at blackpool ;) so watch yourself. hehe.

Congratulations to all the winners, specially Ben who managed a lap of 2 on his final lap, i thort i had done well with a lap of 6 on my final lap and still thought i could have got it down to around 3, but big respect for such a good ride.

Fred, Mick and co for marking out but also for observing too. anyone got the picture of the bunnyhop to log in Fred's section which i managed to clean?!?!?! was the only section ALL day that i wanted to get through clean.

Waynio

PS im a qualified first aider, i just didnt tell you how many crashes and wounds i had sunday. i have actually never woke up on a monday morning and laughed at myself so much with how many bruises and war wounds i had on my body. was good fun though, all in the name of the sport, you dont get better if your not falling off, think im covered for 3months now. shouldnt be falling off for yonks..........................NOT!

I'm also a qualified first aider although I think I was in the same boat as Wayne with the crash situation so didn't like to let on.

Forgot to comment about the sunday

I rode even worse! I had good rides, but was really unconsistant, everything i done well on one lap i would mess up on the next and vise versa. Could of halved my score, grrrr.

Oh well, some great sections (Y), apart from freds, i was too much of a wimp to attempt the kicker haha.

Barbera i know you took a first aid course to help out at comps, thanks for that, i myself am also a qualified first aider, so is dad. But i always think that st johns (ambulance) should be there " just incase", at all events. I not picking on a certain organisation. If there is also not one at the British championship event at kelly farm next week , i will be putting in a complaint about it!

( Hope that explains my last post a bit better)

See you all soon

:P your dad was there scott who needs an ambulance when you've got vaughan, i've seen his driving i'd much rather be going to hospital in his car than an ambulance if i was fighting for my life lol, be there in a third of the time!

whole weekend was brilliant, a much more sociable feel with it being 2 days, sections were great, organisation was top, can't wait for blackpool, My riding on sunday was a bit odd, managed to get out of the longest section number 1 i think, but then didn't manage to get out of brians section which i thought was the easiest :S ah well, had a great laugh going round near wayne to see who could get the best crashes, thought i was winning until wayne decided to land on his head! good to see some new faces at comps, dan brooker etc.

Scott, the insurance states that a St John's Ambulance is not required. Its just hardly ever needed and theres also the cost of it, but your more than welcome to pay for it yourself if you feel it should be there. All the rugby matches that ive played in, there's hardly ever been a St John Ambulance there, just a decent First Aid bag and a qualified first aider, and thats arguably a more dangerous sport.
