boiiing
All the echo pads are the same now, and they all suck. Not much bite, not enough hold. For smooth rim I'd advise using some Neco reds They're pretty awesome to be honest.

Ashley-Wood
Ive told you its your booster loads of times, take it off and then see what the difference is.How would a booster affect the performance plenty of people use a booster and there brakes still work fine
Z o o !!
Stiffens the frame, less vibrations going through the frame so no noise. when i took my heatsink booster off mywas shit hot. can even ask krisboats on here. he ran a booster and it made his brake wank. Z o o !!
Its not just my opinion, theres a lot of people who have found the same. With an already stiff frame, fitting a booster generally reduces pad life and hold. I have a theory as to why but its hard to explain and i'm not actually certain of it being the correct reason behind it.when i fitted a booster and couldn't get any pads to work at all, plazzies, cousts, joypads, koxx greens/yellows, rock blues etc. They would all slip when gapping on a flat floor which sometimes caused the bike to loop out. Removing a booster fixed all the problems i was hhaving with it.I don't know whether its the fact your running the kool stops as they're a very hard pad already, but if you try it with other pads i'd be very suprised if you didn't find the same issues. Ashley-Wood
Thats why people still run boosters, and we had them working quality last week it was just untill they got muddy and wet so cleaned them, and now they dont work good, so a booster couldn't of affected his brake as we had them working good. Ladd
Contamanated (sp?) rim? mud can muckk up pads veyr easy
Z o o !!
When i used to use a booster on my frame no pads would work properly, they wroe down faster, they'd always slip and make no noise at all which isn't great for your confidence. Literally as soon as i took the booster off mid-ride last summer the same pads were loud as hell and held properly, and they seemed to stop wearing down at all so they lasted a hell of a lot longer. When i fitted a booster and couldn't get any pads to work at all, plazzies, cousts, joypads, koxx greens/yellows, rock blues etc. They would all slip when gapping on a flat floor which sometimes caused the bike to loop out. Removing a booster fixed all the problems i was hhaving with it.I don't know whether its the fact your running the kool stops as they're a very hard pad already, but if you try it with other pads i'd be very suprised if you didn't find the same issues.when i used to use a booster all the time my grinds would be dead within a couple of weeks, but when i took the booster of it was so much better.steveDo i have to quote any more people ?
