_Owen.
Good shoes! But not for trials! Theyre SPD shoes, which means they are meant for cleated pedals (where you attatch your foot to the pedal) therefore will have a really stiff sole, meaning theyre a no-no for trials! Get some DC or fox shoes or simlar ones. If not Ribo's are surposed to be good.Hope i helped

They'd probably still be rubbish for trials. The non-spd 661s have a really tacky sole, it's made from the same 'stealth' rubber as they use in climbing shoes. Not sure how good they'd be for trials, but for DH with flat pedals, they're supposed to be the shit.

Gavyn.
you get those in takis as well as spd's. I think they'd be good but i haven't tried them.

I wouldn't wear them in public, put it that way. He likes them (for riding in) but they look pretty gimpy. The lo-top taki ones look OK in the pictures, but I'm not convinced they would do in real life. Riding shoes have a habit of doing that.
