Danny Swindlehurst Snapped Forks

In that these forks all appear to be breaking at the legs just above the Magura mounts, maybe people SHOULD run boosters on their forks? People keep wanting forks to be lighter, so companies thin out the legs, so this kind of thing is bound to happen. Just get a super light booster and that'd probably be enough, it wouldn't need to be as strong as a booster on the rear, just enough to help the fork legs out?

Leave the feather weight stuff to Koxx. Deng...Nice, strong and heavy please :)

You said Deng has started to make his forks lighter...So, How about he stops making them lighter and making the fork legs thinner and make the thick and heavy stuff again...Because it's quite clear...His forks can't hack the pressure there been put through.

Ah, I see, I thought you were saying that Koxx made light/weak stuff and Deng made strong/heavy stuff, my bad.

EDIT: To Beau - Put a booster on then? :P

Ben - I'm not saying it's "The answer", but if you think about how when people run disks, the forks often crack around the disc mount, why would it be any different with Maguras? You're welding something that's going to be exerting a shitload of force into the middle of a tube and giving it no support - it's not surprising that all these forks are breaking around the welds of the Magura mounts, when they're being used with Maguras? All I'm saying is that if running a lightweight booster just to give the forks a bit of support increases their lifespan (And at the same time decreases the chances of your next gap-to-front becoming a hospital visit), then why not?

Im scared now lol. No one knows how good my front brake is and im fat lol. Ow dear expect a pic of my forks soon lol

I know how good your brake is!

:o

Still shocked about the swap we made!

LOL

Would the original magura boosters do the job?

Or will they not fit?
