toyota200x
What rear tire is that?Looks great, but I would throw a 74 kings tensioner on there.
sapu
the tire is hutchinson baracuda 2.5. the tension is goo just in the picture loks loose. when i push the pedal the chain is tight . my warn rear sproket is to blame ). ive used a half link and got a perfect tension just need to replace the sproket
RossMcd
would it be possible to run magura pistons on that lever? Looks alot like an 05 magura lever just alot nicer!
*Tom*
I don't think so, because hayes use dot fluid and maguras use minral oil, so the seals in the lever would die if you used minral oil and vice versa. Might be rong though.Nice bike aswell btw
RossMcd
i would have thought that mineral oil would work fine...its still a type of fluid and ti has its lubricational properties.
*Tom*
Might do then, I don't know much about hayes, but if you put mineral oil in a hope it will ruin the seals, so I reckon it would with a hayes.
RossMcd
i have seen those brakes in person in my local hellfrauds and they look very similar to maguras. Im sure they are identical to the magura marta which can take mineral oil but i could be completely wrong lol.The bike is very nice btw!! ride it well! *Tom*
One way to find out i guess
sapu
it woulden't work cos the diameter of the piston si 10 mm and hs 33 is 14 ...it will have a lot of power but the pistons wold move 1 mm and you vould have a spongy feeling at the lever
