Danny Kearns
alright, what can be done about this, can he claim to the post office, i think i still have the delivery note at homeOhhh come off it. Im sorry. But I for 1 don't think this is Royal Mail's fault. These frames are built for abuse...They don't just snap like that.I think this was sent snapped. Call me a dick for putting the blame directly at you but frames just don't 'snap' in transport.
jacecottrials
im sorry but it wasnt weather or not it was fractured is a different story as i did not think to check this, as the frame has been nothing but sturdy for me while using it, i have different people that could back me up on this aswell

jacecottrials
i am willing to refund this purchase, as i have no intention of scamming on this forum and, wish to buy and sell on here in future though i would like this frame to be returned, does this sound resonable? Ollie Histon
That is quite clearly the mech hanger which is snapped? something which can be replaced for less than 10 pounds? it is not a scam and there is nothing wrong with the structural quality of this frame. how on earth would a drop out just snap in the post? and when have you EVER heard of a dropout cracking on a pitbull anyway? it just doesnt happen.http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=71Buy that and replace the snapped one and you'll be fine. Skoze
Once again, the hanger is something that goes into the dropout, what has snapped is the backend of the actual dropout Edited April 3, 2008 by Skoze
JT!
Not read all the topic brad, but this is what you should do...Get in touch with the sender, say what's happend. Obviously the box has been either dropped or put down sharply and the dropout has sheerd off. This is due to poor packaging and is not your fault. It's the sender who will refund you the money, and he can claim if he likes, but it doesn't matter if he does or doesn't, get your money back off the guy who sent it to you. When i send frames i would always use bubblewrap or polystirine on parts like that.
