crispyboy Posted April 2, 2008 Report Share Posted April 2, 2008 (edited) I think my pads in my hope disc brake are ready for the bin .I dont really want to get the original hope ones again because i find after a while they turn really rubbish and dont work.Im looking for something with abit more power Has anyone ever used any different brake pads for their Hope brake????????? austen Posted April 4, 2008 Report Share Posted April 4, 2008 As Adam said, the originals are the best, my rear hope has the orginals in them and it is a beast, just make sure (as adam said) you keep the rotor clean and the brake caliper / pads clean from dirt, if you do happen to get your brake pads contaminated, take them out of your brake and boil them in a pan with hot water, and then lightly sand them down and they should be fine.
