steve@banbury-trials
both are good in their own ways,i prefer cable over hydraulic due to the easyer maintenace and low cost of them .my personal setup is bb7 203,sd7 lever and kore inner and outer cable.steve Edited April 2, 2008 by banbury trials
trials_pimp
I would advise the Avid BB7.Reliable, powerfull, simple and cheap.Dont worry what everyone says about buying £60 cables or they wont work, Ive got mine with a £2 raleigh inner and outer cable, and my brake will hold an elephant on a tack.I would howerver sugest you use a good lever, recamend XTR if you can stretch the budget. Also Join me in a giant GET BENT to all those sad twats at the begining of the topic, sure its been asked before, and in the 8 years ive been on this forum 90% of what they has been aswell, its just the way things work.SO ask away
Headley
i'd go for the avid bb7 (cable) there's no bleeding and it's easy maintanence. It's powerful and cheap, they're alround good brakes.
