Ben John-Hynes
Other than buying new gripsThere''s not a lot else you can doTry cutting slits in them, not all the way through.I can't see it working too well though.'Cause the grip is normally supplied by thee rubber sticking out of the grips, not from grooves in them.Ben
steve@banbury-trials
i personally would just buy some tarty hard grips instead ,as i havent heard of any techniques for re-doing grip grip.steve

Echo-Scott
I know a guy who just took a pen knife around with him(didn't want to get on his bad side ) and when ever his grips went slippy and all smooth he just cut slits into them. It works as long as the slits arn't to deep and the grips arn't wafer thin already. Edited March 31, 2008 by Echo-Scott

mike
if only there was such things that you cold place over your hands when riding, which would offer protection and extra grip without limiting your dextarity...........

dan_addison
If you cut slits into them, wouldnt you just rip them apart when pulling up??
forteh
My grips are worn completely smooth and are about 1-2mm thick (thin come to think about it ) I have no issues with my hands/gloves slipping on them. Perhaps you should invest in some grips that arent stupidly hard and grip no matter what
