wiremesh
It might be a defect, you'll never know...nothing is perfect in engineering.... lol...But i do agree with you that some Monty products are way over-priced. After all you're buying a branded BikeTrial product. "world champion status".Just like buying branded goods, everything will be over priced. Muel
They are not rubbish or cheese. There is just less of them there to hold your fat ass up!Don't do 6.5 foot drops, they are designed for comps more than street. They can take big drops, but you need to have a really good technique, like as good as a decent comp rider.

nicks
monty parts are shite but the frames are good. i would rather have echo cranks
Muel
monty parts are shite but the frames are good. i would rather have echo cranksI'd say the exact opposite, I have Monty wheels, cranks, and Bar/Stem. They have all been brilliant! My Echo cranks were also great, but if you want a lightweight bike, you have to have parts which would be generally weaker. Muel
Id say monty parts are for smooth riders natural, Comp, Deng parts for street Sounds like a good way to go.I run an Echo frame and forks, comp aimed frames are generally far too flexy for me. Muel
I never ride real street, like huge drop gaps and sidehops, I prefer hopping around on my pallets at home. But yeh, my mate cracked a PR once, it flexed like mad with me on it as well...

forteh
Id rather fund the british engineering industry and buy middleburns, stronger and british Plus you get a decent warranty on them and none of the machined slightly wrong bollocks
