Pedal Hop Help

My names Daniel Burgess I have been riding 2 months and have now got to know quite alot about trials and have worked out many things within trials

My aim for the next few weeks is to learn to pedal hop any tips for help.

I can back hop. 3 Times.

(noob)

I have full controll over the bike now.

Tomorrow i get my bike back and it will have fitted rear magura.

Any tips on how to pedal hop

remember to only use one finger on the brake lever. most important thing to learn when to release and re-apply the brake. then with time you will learn to kick as well. it just takes time really.

Yer i'm trying that at this moment trying to use 1 finger on the breaks

Go back as if you were going to 'backhop' and just practice keeping the bike there, rocking backwards and forwards. Apply pedal pressure, and release the brake to let the front come up, the reapply brake, release brake and pedal, etc, kind of doing a halted wheelie. Keep practising these kind of braking wheelies, until eventually you get the bike to leave the ground by doing it (apply more pressure to pedal and brake)

Easiest way though is to go riding with someone that can do it, and get them to show you...
