wiremesh Posted March 20, 2008 Report Share Posted March 20, 2008 (edited) Hey..urm i really need to ask bout this....I used to ride like 7 days a week, 8 hrs straight, of riding...due to the distance i had to cover on my 20" X Alps was 15 den.Had no side effects whatsoever....but recently ever since i got back to Trials i'm 23 now...i only ride like twice a week, of hard training. Eh...i realised that my right kneestarts to hurt. And it gets worse after the ride, i do both Trials and Mtb. The ache is like a dull yet once bent "sharp" kinda pain.Yet it goes away after 2-3 days. This has been on going for bout a month now. I stretch...before every ride, at least for 5 mins....RIDE ... PAIN ... stop riding for 2-3 days... not PAIN ... ride again... PAIN... it hurts until i can't walk properly.I don't know how it came about, i've not fallen on my knees so far....my landings have been great, and i've yet to jump down anything more den 6 feet yet.Its worrying me. Its probably is some ligament thingy and not the bone...i don't know. MONTY TI RIMS & HUBS.Eh...might burn some cash on a new pair of Monty 07 TI Black Hub and Monty TI white rims, an upgrade for my 221pr 06.Was also thinking of upgrading my mtb wheelset to mavic 717, DT swiss spokes and a pair of ISO DISC chris king hubs.Now which should upgrade...lol....can only choose one. I use my Trial Bike more often, but only twice a week on my MTB....but the trial bike would only last me "this long". After that the frame cracks and i don't know if i'll buy a new whole bike, or the frame and fork... oh yes do they fit on The Echo lite frame and forks? So i'm not too sure if i should get a wheelset(unless i can Xfer dem over to whatever frame n fork im buying).My MTB will be lasting me a long long long time, taking moderate casual leisure lol rides...on the coastal roads and a trip to the trail maybe once a month.
