Rusevelt
Exactly!Well thats bloody pointless weighing a hub without the essential washers & bolts that secure the hub to the forks. just a tarty scam to promo the weight of a hub, even if the bolts were titanium it would still weigh approx 110-115g. now if the axle was titanium then it would be the ultimate lightweight competition trials hub. They don't come with a skewer. I thought weighing the Try-All without bolts and washers would ensure all the hub weights are on a 'level playing field'... The site quite clearly states 'Only 102g! (Plus bolts and washers)'.A titanium axle would make the hub heavier.

Or is it running smaller bearings or something?
trialsalot
Bloody hell! Its grams that you would not feel.Cycle components are made with a tolerance that so long as they are made within these +-tolerances they pass QC.Yes it may not be more but that hub weighs nothing!Think Ads is doing whats perfectly normal in the trade and being whats called COMPETITIVE.Craig
Greetings
I'd still have the Soul Kozak hub. With a light QR it will weigh just a bit more than the Tryall. The quality control of SK components is on a ridiculously high level (my mate works at their factory) and you really get what you pay for. Not too sure Tryall has proper quality control since those parts are mass produced.
trialsalot
yeah sure. It must have some conformity though or nothing would fit right.craig
