Alex Dark
erm...heatsink reds are pretty good, maybe the new necopads?
stuie
If the pads are slipping then they may need setting up again, as they may not be sitting square to the rim so they slip..Happens when i dont set mine up right lol
wiremesh
yup make sure they're set up properly, that the length of the pads sit squarely onto the rims...Also when you press the lever make sure the whole length of the pad touches the rims at the same timeNot one faster den the other....if it does it means your pads are slanted. Make sure to make them straight. That should solve your slipping problems....Might wanna try...heatsinks...for me, the old echos work well. Oh yes make sure your rims are not contaminated with polish or oil.

mcinnes
How old is the grind and was it rough or smooth ? If the grind is worn, the best way to give it a bit of bite is slap on some tar. Edited March 17, 2008 by mcinnes
Nickkkkk
What pads are you running and how worn is the grind. It may need regrinding as the grind wears off after a while.I think the pads are onza limeys or onza citrus.(there yellow). Ladd
When i ran citrus pads they worked amazing on a grind but with a sharp grind they went in a ride (worn down to quick)
Nickkkkk
I dont use tar because i think ride alot in the rain. and i have allowed my pads to wear out abit unevenly on the rim. (so one side connects before the other one. so i swapped the pad round to get them even again) i dont know if that does anythingNick Edited March 17, 2008 by eastmartonmassiff

JoNnY__Mc
Few things that haven't bin mentioned so far:- Pads/rim could be contaminated?? Regrind or wash the rim with clean water, also sand the pads.- Is the brake itself alright?? Maybe it needs a rebleed?
