Hi, I'm Leo. I rode a lot at uni but between then and now have ridden less owing to commitments of marriage, morgage and child. I ride a Raleigh RSP500. If you haven't heard of Raleigh Special Prodcuts they were what Lexus is to Toyota. Totally custom build with some outdated products that have stood the test of time, being stronger than they are light.

I'm looking to ride in the mid Berks/North Surrey/North Hampshire area, whether street or natural, comps or whatever. I've just found out about Crowthorne Cycle Trials.

Evening rides or weekends are mostly good.

Cheers

Leo

HI everyone,

this is my first post so here goes. My name is Sam, I live in Cornwall. I ride motorbike trials mainly but live in Cardiff as a student so like to ride a bit of street trials just to keep my balance in. I am currently in the process of sorting out a new rear end set-up as the wheel i am running is too thin for Saracen team Urban frame meaning that more often than not i end up on my arse! Any time I'm not riding i tend to avoid work by watching Danny Macaskill/Toni Bou videos over and over. Will be looking for some advice on what single speed ratios to run in the near future but for now this is about all.

Thanks in advance,

sam

P.s. in relation to my display name my surname is Fack (it's Dutch)

Hi all, I'm Dave from (near) Blackpool.

I've been in to mountain biking for a good few years now but there's not a lot of really local riding spots and trials/street riding looks like it could be a good alternative for when I get the urge to ride but haven't got the time to drive anywhere.

I'll be hanging around reading tips and advice and looking to buy myself a bike once I've moved house in a month. Really looking forward to getting into the sport (and a new bike to play with!)

Cheers,

Dave

Hello,

I'm Craig. I don't know how this is going to do but there seems to be lots of "Hi I'm new" thread's around here.

I think that we should have one big thread for it... So here it is. The "introduce yourself" Thread.

It's simple. If you're new then come here and say hi, introduce yourself to everybody... I'm sure everybody will be happy to see you here. It just saves space from having to make more and more threads about the same thing every other day for the older members just to say, "Hey welcome to the forum." It kinder gets boring!

It's simple and easy to do, e.g.

<b>Hey I'm Craig, I'm new to the forum and I ride a Monty 221 PR.

I've been doing Trials for about 16 months and I love it. I ride round Medway as that is where I live. I tend to go round Rainham area to ride my bike.

My other Hobbies are;

Football, Swimming, Golf, Fishing, Ice skating, Cricket and loads of other things I can't be bothered to say <img src="http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />.

Thanks Craig.</b>

That's all you need to do.

Have you noticed...?

No spelling mistakes,

Good use of punctuation,

Good grammar,

No swearing

And followed these rules:

<a href="http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?act=announce&f=13&id=3" target="_blank">http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;f=13&id=3</a>

It's simple as that. So instead of all you new members making new threads then post it all in one Thread. It's so much easier!

Thanks Craig <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />.

Hi my name is James, I am not really a new rider as just starting to ride more seriously again after a bit of a break. I mostly ride swindon and Bristol although I miss the old school group rides. My profile was screamer but after so many issues trying to recover my password to an e-mail address that no longer exists I thought I would start again!! (please moderate me)

I am 35 and ride a GU LE and a battered fourplay. So feel free to say hi both old and new members and if you fancy riding Swindon give me a shout.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the site. was into MTB trials a few years back, when the two martins were big.

Kinda lost interest after havng my DMR stolen.

I'm looking to get back into it, doing a bit of street trials etc. so i'm on the look out for an inspired 4play or something similar, must have hydraulic disks though
