New Member? Introduce Yourself Here!

Hello,

I'm Craig. I don't know how this is going to do but there seems to be lots of "Hi I'm new" thread's around here.

I think that we should have one big thread for it... So here it is. The "introduce yourself" Thread.

It's simple. If you're new then come here and say hi, introduce yourself to everybody... I'm sure everybody will be happy to see you here. It just saves space from having to make more and more threads about the same thing every other day for the older members just to say, "Hey welcome to the forum." It kinder gets boring!

It's simple and easy to do, e.g.

<b>Hey I'm Craig, I'm new to the forum and I ride a Monty 221 PR.

I've been doing Trials for about 16 months and I love it. I ride round Medway as that is where I live. I tend to go round Rainham area to ride my bike.

My other Hobbies are;

Football, Swimming, Golf, Fishing, Ice skating, Cricket and loads of other things I can't be bothered to say <img src="http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />.

Thanks Craig.</b>

That's all you need to do.

Have you noticed...?

No spelling mistakes,

Good use of punctuation,

Good grammar,

No swearing

And followed these rules:

<a href="http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?act=announce&f=13&id=3" target="_blank">http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;f=13&id=3</a>

It's simple as that. So instead of all you new members making new threads then post it all in one Thread. It's so much easier!

Thanks Craig <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />.

Instead of complaining about it, think about it logically. The rules are there to protect people. Not so much from buyers, but dodgy sellers.

It's not that difficult to get validated, but moaning about it whilst using zero punctuation / effort won't get you there very quickly.

Hi there!

My name is Dylan, I'm 22 years old and am originally from Tywyn on the west coast of Wales, but have just moved down to Cheltenham. I rode trials obsessively for about 4 years on my trusty Monty x-lite 231 until I passed my driving test, parts broke, uni etc, and went a few years without riding.

However, always had a niggling urge to get back into riding and an Onza Limey 2 going ridiculously cheap on e-bay last Christmas meant I couldn't resist buying it!! Since then I've been going through the process of re-learning stuff and am addicted to trials once again!!!

cheers,

Dylan (Y)

I know where christchurch is, other side of bournemouth. There's quite a few riders from around that way, keep an eye on the Ride / Locations section, there'll be something sometime or another. Get over to Bournemouth and Poole for a ride, or if you can drive it, Portland, West Bay and Weymouth, all good spots.

Hi,

My Name is Chris, sorry to say I cannot ride any form of bikes without falling off, I have tried Enduros, Road,Supermoto the lot, I have no real balance to speak off so I recently bought a gas gas trials bike and the same result.

So for some unknown reason I decided tonight to buy a MAD 1.3 trials bike so I at least can try to improve a little at least.

For what I lack in talent I am a trier and Ive heard that God loves them so in for a penny and all that.

you will have to bear with me I am approaching 40 years old so Iam still learning

Its all good, everyones always welcome here. Keep at it and your balance should improve quite quickly, you'll be surprised. Even just doing trackstands for a while helps a hell of a lot. Best to get this sorted first, as lot of newer riders learn to get up on there back wheel but cant actually balance to save there lives and it makes for messy riding.

Watch some videos and get to some ride if theres any nearby. Mostly have fun with it, no point taking it to seriously.

Hi, I'm Fray, live in Harrogate in N YORKS, lots of places to ride so it's good. Have been riding for the last 4/5 years now. Only got really into it in the last 18 months, however have found it really helps with the motorbike trials so I'm going to try some events this year and improve some more.

Cheers.
