Evening all, I'm James. I've been dabbling with trials for a while, I used to ride every couple of weeks around Bristol but after injury and other distractions (kitesurfing) I basically forgot about trials. I recently dug out my old bike and decided to resurect it, it's an unknown super-small 26" dirt-jumpy frame with planet-x knifen forks and some random bits I put together. I'm reconsidering this build and might plump for a 20 at some point but I cant make my mind up which I'd prefer. Hello!

Hello - Brian here.

Motorbike racing/trackdays is my main hobby, and if I'm honest I saw Danny's video on youtube and thought: Damn... I may be old (actually 36 isn't that old, but it probably is here!) and my BMX days long gone - but I'm going to get a trials bike and try some tricks - even if they are just pathetic copies of Danny's amazing shizzle!

Proper intro here;

Hi all. Used to love riding trials before and during uni, but didn't realise until recently how unsuitable my bike was for it (I ended up building myself a jump bike without really realising, d'oh!). I can do a bit on it, but it's so heavy, it makes it really difficult, especially for a relative beginner like me. Anyway been thinking about getting back into it for a while now; really got inspired by watching some MacAskill videos on youtube, and with summer coming it would be great to ride in the evenings after work. Just need to find a bike! Cheers.

I also got inspired by Danny :D ! That last vid from him did it with me, the one from April. He's so good, haven't got the words for it.

my name is lewis, i am 39. background is in racing xc mtb growing up in the uk. enjoyed the tight, twisty, technical singletrack mostly. moved to brooklyn, NY, nearly 7 years ago. initially continued the xc thing, then progressed to riding the local streets, looking for stuff to ride up, down, over etc. eventually snapped disc brake mount on frame and then i bought a mod bike. now in the process of building a 26" street bike and still fit the riding in with a 1 year old

carpenter by trade now in the fashion/retail industry following a psychiatric nursing career of 17 years. always enjoyed a challenge that required strong physical and mental agility.............to be continued .

Hey I'm James, I'm new to the forum and I ride a black Onza Bird 09.

I've only been riding trials for about 2 weeks but I love it already. I ride around Horndean mostly as that is where I live, but so far I have also travelled to; Cowplain, Waterlooville, Portsmouth, Havant, Cosham and Portsolent.

I can't do much stuff yet, but I really enjoy riding random walls I find while i'm out riding on the street.

My other Hobbies are; Football, Swimming, Rugby and I play quite alot of Xbox live too.

Thanks, James.

Hi my name is Markus Johansson and I'm from Sweden. I am 18 years old in August and Ive been riding this shit for 11 years now :P But it's still a lot of fun and you're exploring new stuff all the time. I usually ride naturals and don't like street too much.. but it's really cool to look at. I ride a KOXX XTP long and have been riding Koxx fore some years now, i really like those bikes. But later on when I will change I'll probably be buying myself a Rockman !

cheers!

Hello All,

I’m Steve, 21 and living in London. It’s been a few years since I've given the bike a seeing too, but I’m slowly getting back into it now. Watching the Danny video (April 2009) gave me the push and made me think "maybe i will dig the toy out again*

I use to ride trails, street, a little trials, and also done a bit of dual and downhill racing.

Nowadays by trade I’m a fire system engineer and spend most of my time working and if I’m not working then i will be running around a forest playing airsoft or driving my car.

My current bike is an orange hitman jump/street rig, with shiver sc forks, hope, saint, dmr, etc. (see pic)

Looking to purchase a trails bike very soon, possibly an orange to keep the theme going ;o)

speak to you soon........

Well hello everyone on trials forum.

My name is scott im 24 and i live and ride in the andover, i currently im riding a modified saracen hardtail for trials which is Not best suited! I attempted trials a few years ago with a monty 230 urban. But i didnt keep it up due to my motocross habit! But after a few years away doin other stuff im back to riding and givin trials a proper go! So im learning from scratch basically. I hope to get myself a (real!) trials bike by the end of the year hopefully a zoo pitbull with the 116mm rear end. Hope to get some pics of my current bike uploaded soon. My hobbies are trials (obviously!) street riding, a gt chucker hard tail. I used to ride motocross but a serious injury put an end to that! I enjoy fishing and drawing to relax abit after work! My favourite riders are Danny Macaskill, Jack Meek, Martyn Ashton, Ryan Leech and Danny Holroyd. Anyway ill talk to all at some point on here.

Cheers.
