Ladd
The rear has a hugee tyre! Maybe?
LukasMcNeal
the rear is bigger so it can have a bigger tyre and absorb drops better and for more grip
Muel
The rear wheel is smaller, so you can have a bigger tyre and the circumferance of the wheels can be roughly the same.

Ben John-Hynes
Why didn't they give them a 20" rear wheel and a smaller tyre?Like stocks. But that isn't really a "MODification" is it.Ben
nicks
the rear tyres are bigger for balance so they made the wheel smaller so the bike wouldnt be slanted

cai
Hey peeps just wandering why the hell does a mod have to hova two different size of wheels but stock only have one size??Well 'mod' means modified, and 'stock' esentially means standard. So the stocks haven't been modified for trials, thev'e only been adapted (geo, ect...)Mods on the other hand have actually been modified for trials, and the reason behind the rims (as muel said) is that if you were going to whack a massive 'trials specific trye' on a rear 20" rim, your rear wheel and front wheel would now be different sizes - meaning it would feel awkward to ride! So by shrinking the rim by an inch (down to 19") you can keep the 'trials specific tyre' without messing up the geo and ride height of the bike.Make more sense now?
